Focus Computer Advertising, or FCA, was founded and created in 1994.

Our company started out manufacturing cable news system for the entertainment industry. Later, this type of production was give the name Narrowcasting, or Digital Signage. Back then it was still a new form of media, so we were one of the pioneers of a quite new market. At the start of our company we worked with a Commodre Amiga system with Scala MM200. Our productions were delivered to our clients with the use of external hard disks. Nowadays we still work with Scala, though the name has changed now to Scala Infochannel. At the moment, we display this on a Scala player that gets information through a content manager, that itself is updated and managed by the client themselves through the Internet. At the studio we work with i.e. Scala Infochannel Designer, which processes faster and therefore is cost-effective for the client.

We have a complete high definition studio and 18 years of experience in the AV branch. This means that we can deliver professional quality for a reasonable cost by not having i.a. overhead and equipment costs. For a project with a tight budget, we can also work with i.a. PowerPoint presentation or Solid State Player.

The most important part of a Digital Signage project is, eventually, the content displayed on the screen, and for the right people. The biggest different with the older days is that now everything is happening through the Internet, so it is more controlled and manageable by everyone. Our clients now have the option to modify the contents via any PC, tablet, or mobile phone as long as they are connected to the Internet. The options for the players are limitless. Nowadays, they can control lamps, spread a smell, or even determine if it is a man or woman who is looking at the screen and for how long. The possibilities have propelled upwards, while the costs have never been lower, which makes Digital Signage available for everyone.

Outside of Digital Signage and Film production, we make websites and we also make photographs for our projects by ourselves. If you can imagine it, we can make it!
